Dêqë-race Fêqê (/ˈdɘqë/ /ˈrace/ [spontaneous] [treasure]) is a subtropical Town located in the Rehîêro Zone of the Union of Engineers.
The name Dêqë-race Fêqê is derived from the Iron Elvish language, as Dêqë-race Fêqê was founded by Glelîj Fyèdsm, who was culturaly Iron Elven.
Climate
Dêqë-race Fêqê has a yearly average temperature of 28°C (82°F), with its average temperature during the summer being a hot 31°C (87°F) and its average temperature during the winter being a warm 26°C (78°F). Dêqë-race Fêqê receives an average of 256 cm/y (100 in/y) of precipitation, most of which comes in the form of rain during the summer. Dêqë-race Fêqê covers an area of nearly 5 km2 (2 mi2), and an average elevation of 2064 m (6771 ft) above sea level.
Overview
Dêqë-race Fêqê was founded durring the early 17th century in early summer of the year 1650, by Glelîj Fyèdsm. The establishment of the new community went well, though many minor issues had to be solved as time went on. This was enough to delay construction and push back the formal opening ceramony, leading to some embarisment for Glelîj Fyèdsm.
Dêqë-race Fêqê was built using the conventions of Iron Elven durring the early 17th century. Naturaly, all settlmentss have their own look to them, and Dêqë-race Fêqê is no diffrent. The town's buildings feature waddle and daub construction with good timber frames and a stone foundation protected by thatched or shingled rooves. Most buildings with second floors are built in such a way as to overhang into the streets on the upper floors for more space, as building size seems to be the primary indicator of wealth within the community. Most buildings are not decorated with any integral features, but instead use ivy, flowers, and other natural elements in planters of on trellices to breathe life into the structure they grow upon.
Dêqë-race Fêqê is buildings are grouped arround an odd layout of restrictive gravel streets, which seems to be based on an overlapping squair patern such that there are small squares at the cornor of every bigger square. Sometimes buildings exist in the smaller squaires, other times they are open spaces, or occupied by temporary structures. The town is protected by a well-crafted cobblestone fence tall enough to provide adiquite cover for defenders to fire from, but no more than that. Dêqë-race Fêqê's frontieer-style defences has sufferd soem light damage, reducing its function a little in some spots, but could almsot certainly preform as expected... Though some of the worse spots could lead to the loss of defenders lives if attackers identified the weaknesses ahead of time.
Dêqë-race Fêqê has the unmistakable air of a town on its last legs. Everything is a bit slipshod and ramshackle. Everyone is at work, or drinking. No one has anything in their eyes other than fear and despair. Whatever industry once fueled Dêqë-race Fêqê ’s existence has dried up and the town is drifting down the stream of history as it dries up. Likely due to this, Dêqë-race Fêqê is, in a word, disorder. People seem to be allowed to do as they please with little harmoney to anything. It feels less like a town, and more like a spot people just happened to have homes. One cannot help but wonder what Dêqë-race Fêqê was like during the glorydays.

Cultural Notes
The law within Dêqë-race Fêqê is highly corrupt, or does not apply to certain favored groups or castes. Strangers might be fleeced by local lawmen, evildoers can be absolved by a payment, and powerful gentry do as they please.
Dêqë-race Fêqê's bank was built using a different architectural style from the rest of the town. The style used is famous for its stately symmetry, classical elements, and grand appearance. Columns and pillars, such as Corinthian columns, are often seen supporting open structures or porticos. Symmetry is an important feature of this style, with each half of a building mirroring the other. Domed ceilings and windows grace these buildings, with everything placed in a mathematical arrangement.
